Construction Environmental Manager β Peterborough Job Description
The Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) project currently involves the planning, design and construction of circa 320km of new strategic, large diameter, clean water interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure across Anglian Water\βs region. The SPA Alliance is also taking on responsibility for the future interconnector pipelines, a further 260km of strategic interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Support the SPA Environmental Manager and Enabling Team in delivery of strategic priorities.
- Develop and review Construction Environmental Management Plans and Environmental Impact Assessments as required to support delivery programmes and development of future SPA programmes.
- Consult with regulators and key stakeholders, applying for consents and permits where necessary.
- Work collaboratively across SPA ensuring requirements of the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) are complied with throughout delivery milestones.
- Enable and support Environmental Advisors (EAs) in the provision of advice and guidance to delivery teams.
- Liaise closely with Enabling Leads, ensuring environmental support is aligned and consistent, enabling compliant construction activity.
- Provide leadership in a delivery focused culture, creating an environment in which a high-performing team can thrive.

- Experience in Contaminated Land ,Statutory Nuisance, Waste Management, Ecology, Incident investigation, Environmental permitting, licencing and consenting applications and requirements and Construction
- Knowledge of key environmental legislation
- Data analysis and interpretation experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving skills.
- Document production abilities using various software inc., excel, word, GIS, PowerPoint.
- Organisational and Negotiation skills
- Current UK driving licence
Qualifications
