Overview
In this Senior Planner role, you will support AMP8/AMP9 water infrastructure projects by maintaining and updating the project programme from pre-construction through to handover. You work closely with the Planning Lead and project team to ensure milestones are met and risks are mitigated, across multiple schemes in the North West and Cumbria. You drive schedule integrity using Primavera P6 and manage change in line with NEC contracts, while developing delivery programmes as design information evolves. This is a site-based, hybrid role with a minimum presence three days a week on the Sale project, offering exposure to large-scale asset management programs and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Prepare robust tender and contract programmes linking design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and handover to project lifecycle
- Analyse Critical Path and advise the project team with corrective actions
- Produce/maintain baselines and execute change control processes
- Record progress in the programme, reschedule as needed, and communicate outcomes to the team
- Create programmes meeting contractual requirements and company procedures
- Manage multiple programmes and support Planning Engineers, including supervision of work
- Ensure all work complies with company standards and procedures
