The predicted salary is between 28000 - 35000 € per year.

Due to the continued growth, the position of Trainee Project Controls Engineer has become available to join our successful team based in Gloucester. You will have the opportunity to work on our EDF Project Controls Resource Framework where you will be involved in the exciting challenge of defueling and decommissioning the AGR nuclear power station. The programme will focus on helping you to grow your personal and leadership skills, alongside business and of course, the technical skills you will learn day-to-day on the job. Our line managers are fully supportive of the trainees and will be involved in helping you along the way.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the development of scope and Work Breakdown Structures
  • Establishment, management and reporting through Costain project controls systems
  • Prepare project reports including financial, resourcing and schedule analysis
  • Generating and maintaining schedules in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • Assisting in the development of project proposal estimates
  • Potential travel opportunities to work on interstate/international projects

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Essential

  • Be passionate about your field

Qualifications

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree (min 2:1 or equivalent) in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering is preferred

Desirable

  • Full UK driving licence preferred
