We are looking for a Project Director, with experience in highly complex, highly regulated environments. This role will be based in Lincolnshire. The position will have responsibility for leading a dedicated team of specialists in complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure integration, including close working and supply chain integration to meet our clients' demanding needs.

Responsibilities- Ensures projects are completed to quality, schedule, and budget; anticipating and developing contingency plans to mitigate risks and issues.
- Responsible for overall performance including profit and loss across specified customer accounts.
- Manages and controls risk and change to meet Costain and client objectives.
- Manages stakeholders and project to deliver direct (project) and indirect (e.g., social value) benefits.
- Develops effective project delivery organisations and secures sufficiently qualified and experienced personnel to meet the project needs.
- Selects, integrates, and assures the supply chain required to meet the project needs.
- Assures efficient project execution by leading teams to remove complexity and maximise productivity.
- Demonstrates high profile and visible safety leadership. Responsible for ensuring all project requirements are achieved for health, safety, environmental impact mitigation, and security.
- Ensures compliance with and continuous improvement of quality management systems.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Experience working on a Substation/HV Transmissions.
- Ability to interface and interact with management and client representatives at all levels.
- Experienced in developing strong client and wider stakeholder relationships.
- Possesses a recognised degree ‘or’ equivalent experience ‘or’ qualification in a relevant branch of engineering and be a member of an internationally recognised professional Institution.
- Has robust and practical experience in integrating multi-disciplinary and external organisations into a high-performance enterprise across the project lifecycle.
- Strong Project Management expertise in highly regulated industries with complementary leadership and behavioural management.
- Delivery focused with proven experience in achieving project goals whilst maintaining high standards in HSEQ at all times.
- Innovative, adaptive, harnessing data and technology to drive project success.
- Conversant with estimating approaches and competent in cost/schedule budget management processes.
- Conversant with HR practices/processes.
- Proven track record of building teams with different backgrounds and values diverse thinking.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Security Clearance would be desirable, but the ability to gain SC is essential.
