We have an exciting opportunity for a Completions Lead to join a landmark Energy project in Teesside. You will direct, organize and control construction and commissioning completions activities on behalf of the Commissioning and Construction Manager to progress successful tracking and delivery of NZT/NEP project. Implementing Omega PIMS completions management system with the BP Completions lead to support the project delivery. Recommending improvements where necessary in accordance with the company’s Quality, Environmental, Safety and Health management arrangements and all applicable legislation.

Responsibilities- Utilizing Omega PIMS to provide demonstrable proof of the completion of the Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical & Instrumentation Installation.
- Demonstrable proof of Commissioning and Integration of installed equipment.
- Assist Subcontractor / Vendors to create the Omega PIMS hierarchy.
- Ensure that Installation Test Reports (ITRs), Mechanical Completion Certificates (MCC’s) and System Handover Certificates (SH) are kept to the minimum required.
- Using Omega PIMS features, accountable for reporting to the Construction and Commissioning Managers using the features provided within Omega PIMS.
- Accountable for the provision of all aspects of Completion coordination throughout the project’s lifecycle. Assuring deliverables and arrangements between all participating stakeholders are agreed and appropriately accounted for.
- Oversee Costain work for gap analysis. The deliverables for this item are a set of electronic composite check sheets and records that meet all requirements and are ready to be input to the project completion system Omega PIMS.
- Liaison with BP Completion Lead to resolve any system support issues.
- Work with Costain Engineering to develop a project master tag database for importing to Omega PIMS.
- Oversee the project certification engineers to complete the project certification and completion documentation within the database.
- Develop document content format for system handover from Costain to BP commissioning team.
- Interface with Costain construction and the fabricator to ensure compliance with certification requirements.
- Administer system handover and formal walk-through prior to each subsystem handover from Construction to commissioning.
- Represent the Costain commissioning team for system handover to BP Commissioning.
- Comply with the project procedures, processes & standards and ensure that all project team personnel comply with the specific procedures relating to Handover.
- Provide completion status reporting to the Construction and Commissioning Managers.
- Track & forecast the progress and quality of documentation being delivered by disciplines and project team.
- Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude and encourage this attitude in others.
- Maintain and promote high personal standards in Environment, Safety, Health, Security and Quality.
- Ensure the agreed records and documentation are produced and maintained to demonstrate compliance to relevant quality, performance, standards and legislation.
- Oversee Sub-contractor completions.
- Chair meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members.
- Suitable experience in a relevant project delivery role within the construction & commissioning industry.
- Working Knowledge of the management & control methods within construction & engineering Project Delivery.
- Fundamental understanding of the principles and disciplines within the construction & engineering industry.
- Proficient in the MS Office Suite of products.
- Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- ONC or equivalent qualification in a construction or engineering discipline or a recognised apprentice training scheme or demonstrable experience.
