Site engineer for large HV Transmissions project, Navenby, enabling connections to the Springwell Solar Farm and Battery Storage projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a package of site works / subcontractors
  • Ensuring site surveys and records are provided as required
  • Coordinating with project managers, site managers, supervisors, and suppliers to develop and review safe system compliance and daily processes
  • Recording all on-site activities via daily diaries, production control schedules, and photographs
  • Reviewing drawings and raising technical queries to the design team

Qualifications:

  • HV Transmissions experience
  • Understanding of engineering principles
  • Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices
  • Some civil / MEICA construction experience
  • Design Management experience
  • Relevant CSCS Card
  • Full Clean Driver’s Licence
  • Civil Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, BSc, MSc, BEng, Meng)
  • Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme – SSSTS (CITB)
  • Safety Passport
  • CCNSG SHEA Power Persons Substation (NG)
  • First Aid
  • Manual Handling / Moving & Handling Principles
  • HSG47 / CAT & Genny
