What you’ll do:

  • Design engaging, user-centred digital experiences for Costa Express and Pacto, creating intuitive journeys from selection to product vend and loyalty rewards.
  • Collaborate with Product, Development and Data teams to define problem statements, set success metrics, validate solutions and ensure high-quality, accessible designs to WCAG standards.
  • Build user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity screens and run usability testing to iterate based on insights, optimising experiences under real-world conditions.
  • Contribute to and evolve the Costa Digital Design System, ensuring design consistency, component re-use and cross-channel coherence globally.
  • Advocate for insight-led UX through facilitating workshops, ideation sessions, and supporting other designers across App, Web and Kiosk digital products when needed.

Who you are:

  • Creative, user-focused designer experienced in UX and UI for kiosk, web and app, translating insights into intuitive, accessible digital experiences.
  • Skilled in Lean UX, Design Thinking, prototyping, usability testing, and tools like Figma, Miro, and Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong eye for detail and brand consistency.
  • Experienced in running research, defining hypotheses and success metrics, and turning data and insights into effective design solutions.
  • Confident collaborator and communicator, facilitating workshops, presenting design decisions, and delivering high-quality solutions in fast-paced agile environments.
  • Proven track record delivering scalable, production-ready designs for high-volume public devices, with knowledge of accessibility, internationalisation, loyalty mechanics, and design systems.

Location - Where you’ll work:

Right now, our Support Centre teams work flexibly, blending home working with in-person time whenever it matters most – whether that’s a team moment, a creative session, or simply coming together to share ideas.

This role will also involve occasional visits to our Costa Express office in Loudwater, High Wycombe, for in-person access to development machines, collaboration with team members and moderated usability testing.
