What you’ll do
Being a Senior Business Development Manager - Travel is about so much more than bringing our coffee to the world. It’s your chance to stir up real success - which means you’ll be:
- Driving new business growth by identifying and securing new travel retail opportunities globally, with a particular focus on North America and Asia (excluding China)
- Supporting Global and Regional teams in maintaining and strengthening relationships with key global partners
- Supporting global tender processes for new Travel Retail opportunities, providing clear commercial forecasts that optimise Costa’s footprint in key travel environments
- Supporting delivery of the in year global P&L for the Travel Retail channel
- Contributing to achieving annual and long-range targets for store openings, retention, sales, and operating income
- Supporting negotiations and finalisation of partner agreements, including internal alignment on commercial terms and interpretation of legal agreements with Legal
Who you are
It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in:
- Experience of strategic planning, financial management, and operational best practices
- Deep Travel Retail knowledge across airports, rail and other transit environments
- Experience of multi-platform B2B models
- End to end tendering: RFP/RFI interpretation, space modelling, passenger and dwell time analytics, competitor mapping, concept narrative, financial modelling, bid writing and pitch leadership
Where you’ll work:
Right now, our Support Centre teams work flexibly, blending home working with in-person time whenever it matters most – whether that’s a team moment, a creative session, or simply coming together to share ideas. We’re excited to be moving into a new home for our brand in St Albans in January 2027 – an inspiring space from which our Support Centre teams will work three days a week to connect and collaborate in-person to bring our bold ambition to life, however this role will also involve extensive travel, on average 1 week every 6/8 weeks.
