At Costa Coffee, we’re on a mission to reimagine coffee experiences across the globe. From bustling cities to local communities, we’re creating meaningful coffee moments, powered by innovation and driven by purpose. As a proud part of the Coca-Cola system and working hand in hand with our pioneering partners, we’re in over 50 countries and counting. Whether it's served in-store, from a machine, at home, or on the go, every cup is thoughtfully crafted by our passionate teams who put heart into every moment. Our teams truly make a difference. Whether it's innovative new tech for the perfect pour, launching award-winning campaigns, developing exciting new menu items, or supporting our people to grow – together, we stir up success.
We are creating a new role within the Global Propositions team that will sit at the heart of shaping Costa’s future. Grounded in strong consumer, market and performance insight, this role will define where and how Costa grows, right-size store footprint, and evolve formats and propositions to meet changing customer needs across markets. Equally, it will be central to bringing new retail propositions to life, from early concept through to trial and scale, working closely across the business to turn strategy into action. We value curiosity, inclusivity, and a problem‑solving mindset. If you thrive in a fast‑paced, global environment and are excited to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply.
What you’ll do
- Lead the translation of market research and consumer insight into clear, actionable recommendations that shapes Costa’s retail strategy and proposition development, turning data into direction that drives smarter investment decisions.
- Own and lead Costa’s retail propositions strategy — helping define where and how we grow, optimising our format mix and customer experience across markets, and building the execution frameworks to turn strategy into reality.
- Define new proposition opportunities, working closely with stakeholders to ensure the most impactful ideas are progressed and aligned to commercial goals.
- Drive the end‑to‑end development of new retail propositions, from early concept through to testing, ensuring trials are designed for success and deliver clear, actionable learnings.
- Support the transition of propositions from trial to scale, ensuring robust documentation, clear commercial rationale and effective handover to enable consistent rollout across markets.
Who you are
- Proven experience in strategy development, ideally from a consulting, insight or similarly fast‑paced consumer retail or hospitality environment, with a track record of shaping and delivering market‑level plans.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience translating insight and strategic thinking into scalable business change that delivers measurable impact.
- Ability to define and assess proposition opportunities through a consumer, commercial and operational lens, including format, footprint and growth potential with a solid understanding of how change lands in a live retail or hospitality environment.
- End‑to‑end delivery capability, with experience taking projects from business case through to implementation and embedding into BAU, ensuring successful landing and sustained impact.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels and turn complex thinking into clear direction.
