What you’ll do
- Manage key datasets. Keep our network, competitor and GIS data accurate, updated and ready for decision‑making.
- Unlock insight. Turn complex data into clear, actionable insight that supports growth and location decisions.
- Support strategy. Provide data‑driven inputs that shape new propositions, market opportunities and optimisation plans.
- Engage stakeholders. Work closely with Growth, Property and wider commercial teams to ensure insights land clearly and drive the right decisions.
- Enhance data workflows. Help build smooth, scalable processes and a best‑in‑class data library that supports fast, confident decision‑making.
Who you are
- GIS and spatial analysis specialist. Strong GIS skills (e.g., QGIS) and a real passion for geographical data, mapping and spatial insight and experience within a similar retail environment.
- Degree in Geography, GIS, Economics, Data Science, Maths or similar, with enthusiasm for spatial analytics (postgraduate GIS experience a bonus).
- Technically capable analyst. Confident using SQL, Python, Tableau/PowerBI and cloud platforms, with curiosity to explore data creatively and rigorously.
- Strong data handling and workflow skills. Able to manage datasets, maintain data quality, and support smooth analytical workflows across tools and platforms.
- Clear and confident communicator and collaborator.
