We are on the lookout for an experienced Data Science Analyst with demonstrable experience of Data Science and Machine Learning to harness the potential of our brand new cutting‑edge pricing tool, empowering our Global markets with insightful analysis. What you’ll do
- Responsible for collecting, cleaning, modelling, analysing and reporting data from various sources, as well as creating data visualisations and dashboards to communicate your findings.
- Performing exploratory and descriptive data analysis to identify patterns, trends, outliers, and anomalies.
- Applying statistical and machine‑learning techniques to build predictive and prescriptive models and test hypotheses.
- Using feature engineering to create new data points that leverage the data to the best of our ability.
- Communicating data findings and insights to internal and external stakeholders using clear and concise language and storytelling.
Who you are
- Proven experience in marketing, consumer, or data science analytics roles, ideally within Retail, QSR, or Consumer Services.
- Strong academic background in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced programming skills (e.g. PySpark, SQL, Python) with the ability to develop and deploy production‑level models and code.
- Experience with the Azure ecosystem (e.g. Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps) and containerisation tools like Docker is highly desirable.
- Curious, analytical and solutions‑focused mindset. Comfortable navigating complexity, able to juggle large datasets, interrogate what the data is signalling, and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
