The Finance Manager – Green Coffee & Commodities is responsible for leading finance activities related to green coffee and commodity risk management and procurement. The role ensures robust financial governance, risk management, and strategic decision‑making for global commodities.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial oversight of green coffee and commodity pricing, supporting procurement decisions with clear forward‑cost insights.
- Own end‑to‑end coffee pricing processes, ensuring strong governance and alignment across finance, supply chain and procurement.
- Assess and manage global commodity‑risk exposure, embedding accurate forecasting into financial planning (R&O processes).
- Develop and implement scalable risk‑management processes, systems and guardrails to strengthen financial control and compliance.
- Partner cross‑functionally to drive strategic decisions, optimise the coffee value chain and unlock cost efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) with 5+ years PQE in strong financial planning, modelling and forecasting.
- Strong commercial understanding of commodity pricing, risk management and supply‑chain dynamics.
- Highly analytical, able to turn complex data into clear insights and drive informed business decisions.
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management, influencing cross‑functional teams across finance, procurement and supply‑chain.
- Proven ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment, managing ambiguity with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
