The Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager takes leadership and accountability for all UK&I Warehousing and Distribution including the management of 3PLs, suppliers and close coordination with the UK commercial and operations (Retail and Away From Home) teams. They build the strategy to drive continuous improvement in logistics operational performance (OTIF), implement efficiency through technology and future proof Costa’s Logistics network.

What you’ll do: Being a Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager is about so much more than bringing our coffee to the world. It’s your chance to stir up real success - which means you’ll be:
- Lead UK&I logistics, warehousing and transport operations, ensuring strong performance across inventory, distribution and customer service
- Manage and optimise relationships with 3PL providers and suppliers, driving cost efficiency, service quality and contract performance
- Own operational performance (including OTIF), delivering continuous improvement to enhance service levels and support business growth
- Develop and implement logistics strategies, ensuring a resilient, scalable supply chain aligned to commercial and operational priorities
- Oversee budgets and performance, ensuring effective cost control, strong financial outcomes and delivery against key KPIs
Who you are: It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in:
- Proven supply chain or operations leader with a strong track record of delivering operational excellence and commercial performance
- Experienced in managing complex, multi-site and multi-channel distribution environments, ideally within retail or manufacturing
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships at all levels
- Data-driven and analytical mindset, with a focus on driving KPI performance and continuous improvement
- Commercially astute, resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
Where you’ll work: Our Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager role is designed to be field-based, with regular time spent where it matters most – whether that’s at our third-party logistics sites in Wellingborough and Swindon, or at our St Albans Support Centre. It’s all about being close to our operations, connecting with teams on the ground, and coming together to keep things running smoothly.
