At Costa Coffee, we are on a mission to reimagine coffee experiences across the globe. As a Global Employee Relations Manager, you will lead Costa's global Employee Relations and People Helpdesk function, ensuring managers and team members receive expert, timely advice and support. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, managing complex ER cases, overseeing our helpdesk operations, and driving continuous improvement to enhance the employee experience.

You will partner with senior leaders and People teams across markets, provide guidance on sensitive issues, and lead initiatives that strengthen compliance and reduce risk. Alongside case management, you will shape our global ER strategy, build capability within your team, and champion a culture of fairness and respect.

What you will do:

  • Manage the global ER and Helpdesk team, responding to calls and cases to confirm policy and process, ensuring clarity and compliance without providing advisory services.
  • Design and implement global people policies, frameworks, and governance standards.
  • Manage complex ER cases, including settlements, restructures, and tribunal preparation.
  • Drive compliance with employment legislation and company standards across multiple markets.
  • Partner with senior leaders and People teams to improve ER outcomes and support strategic projects.
