The successful candidate will be a key member of the staff team. The hours available are generally one evening, one morning and occasional Sundays. There is also the opportunity to increase hours on other days to assist with holidays, sickness and busy periods.
This post would ideally suit someone who is either looking to reduce their working hours, or supplement an existing part-time position.
In addition to general cleaning duties, such as cleaning, mopping, hoovering, buffing, it is essential that various rooms are set for Centre users. This involves moving and setting tables and chairs for events, meetings, parties and social gatherings.
Due to the nature of the work carried out in the Centre, all staff undertake vetting procedures. It will be expected that the successful candidate will open or close the Centre, ensuring that all entrances and exits are secure and alarm systems are set.
This is a very rewarding position which would suit a cheerful and helpful person, engaging with the public to ensure their facilities are as clients request.
