Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students
- Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
- Prepare appropriate lesson materials aligned with the student's age and ability
- Submit class feedback after each lesson
- Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
- Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
- Communicate with Cosmo staff
Compensation
The pay rate is $20 USD per class plus additional incentives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of experience teaching grades K‑12 in ELA
- Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and curriculum
- Experience teaching ESL learners
- Teaching qualification preferred but not required
Technical Requirements
- Fast and reliable internet connection and a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000
- Access to a private and quiet location
Availability
- Minimum of 20 hours of availability per week
- Available between 8–2 PM GMT on Monday‑Friday or 5 AM–2 PM GMT on weekends
- Able to commit to at least 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1
- Currently located in the UK
