Teach ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong online through the Cosmo curriculum. This role is remote and based in the UK.
Pay: $20 USD per class plus additional incentives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct 50‑minute 1:1 lessons for ESL students.
- Prepare lesson materials tailored to the student’s age, ability and ESL needs.
- Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
- Submit class feedback after each lesson.
- Communicate with parents, students and Cosmo staff in a professional manner.
- Attend all classes on time and maintain a professional online classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience with K‑12 students in ELA and ESL.
- Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and curriculum.
- Teaching qualification preferred but not required.
- Fast and reliable internet connection and a Windows or Mac PC with minimum CPU 6000.
- Minimum 20 hours of availability per week and flexible timing between 8‑2 PM GMT (Mon‑Fri) or 5‑2 PM GMT (weekends).
- Access to a private, quiet location.
- Currently located in the UK.
- Strong interpersonal skills—approachable, patient, adaptive, considerate, enthusiastic, reliable.
