Job Overview

Sales Executive – Diageo Grocery. Responsible for increasing awareness and sales of Diageo brands in the grocery sector across the Southampton market and surrounding areas. Location Southampton, United Kingdom (covering Blandford Forum, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Dorchester, Eastleigh, Fareham, Isle of Wight, Gosport, Poole, Portsmouth, Ringwood, Totton, Weymouth, Winchester and surrounding areas).

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct face‑to‑face visits to grocery retailers in territory.
  • Advise key stakeholders on promotions and product awareness.
  • Use data to monitor stock levels and resolve issues.
  • Ensure agreed shelf space and displays are set up.
  • Develop bespoke business plans and recommend to store managers.
  • Report findings via tablet, sharing competitor and sales information.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to analyse in‑store data.
  • Excellent relationship‑building and persuasive skills.
  • Tenacious, goal‑oriented with a strong sales focus.
  • Previous retail experience preferred; training will be provided.
