We are looking for Merchandisers in the Norwich area. The role is 4 – 6 hours per week (with potential for increased hours during busy periods) paid at £15.07 per hour, PAYE including holiday pay. Start within two weeks after onboarding and training; long-term, ongoing work is available. Flexible working across Monday to Sunday with fixed days on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Experience in retail or merchandising, especially health & beauty, is desirable. Use of a car is essential.
Territory Coverage
Norwich and surrounding areas within a 10‑mile radius.
Responsibilities
- Visit a mix of high‑street, grocery and convenience stores to complete merchandising tasks, audits and set up point‑of‑sale (POS) materials.
- Navigate fixtures (e.g., gondolas, bays, shelving) confidently.
- Merchandise products in line with agreed planograms.
- Ensure maximum stock visibility to drive sales and maintain attractive displays.
- Arrange and top‑up products on shelves and displays for customer visibility.
- Negotiate extra display space where possible to boost sales.
- Move and lift stock as required.
Qualifications
- Ideally, experience in retail or merchandising.
- Experience in retailers such as Boots, department stores or premium beauty chains is desirable.
- Availability Monday to Sunday, with fixed visits on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
- Reliability, adaptability and the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable communicating with store staff and building in‑store relationships.
- Aptitude for maintaining high standards of work.
- Own car for transporting promotional materials or small displays.
- Use of a phone or tablet to complete reporting via the company app, including photo uploads and feedback.
