CPM is looking for a Sales Development Executive to join our new team representing Haleon within the grocery retail sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive sales and enhance the in-store presence of market-leading healthcare brands, including Sensodyne, Advil, and Centrum. £28,000 + 10% bonus PA, car, tablet and mobile. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs per week. If you have experience in retail merchandising, stock replenishment, or planogram compliance, this position could be the perfect fit.
Territory covering: Coventry, Derby, Leicester, Northampton, Nottingham, Worcester and surrounding areas. A driver’s licence that enables you to drive in the UK is essential.
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and driven Sales Development Executive to join our team, representing Haleon across grocery and key retail channels. As a Sales Development Executive, you will play a vital role in driving product availability, visibility, and compliance in-store. You’ll bring brands to life through impactful merchandising, promotional activations, and strong retailer relationships, ensuring campaigns are executed to the highest standard. What You’ll Be Doing
- Execute in-store activities including merchandising, POS implementation, promotional displays, and FSDU builds to maximise brand visibility and sales.
- Complete scheduled store visits in line with client briefs, KPIs, and compliance standards, capturing accurate data and insights.
- Build strong relationships with store managers and colleagues to secure incremental opportunities and enhance brand presence.
- Manage your own territory effectively, demonstrating strong organisation, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Adapt to changing campaign requirements and identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
- Represent the company and client with integrity, professionalism, and a results-driven mindset.

- Confident using smartphone apps, including photo upload and reporting tools.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Adaptable, reliable, and results driven.
- Previous field merchandising, retail, or sales experience and/or experience working within grocery or FMCG environments would be advantageous but not essential.
- Experience working in a data led environment, using reporting and analytics to optimise results.
