How to prepare for a job interview at Cosine Group

Know Your POS

Before the interview, brush up on your knowledge of point of sale (POS) systems and merchandising. Be ready to discuss any previous experience you have in placing POS and how you ensured everything was displayed correctly. This will show that you understand the role and can hit the ground running.

Show Off Your Communication Skills

Since you'll be liaising with store colleagues, it's crucial to demonstrate your communication skills during the interview. Practice explaining how you've built relationships in past roles and how you would approach introducing yourself to key contacts in-store.

Be Ready for Practical Questions

Expect questions about how you would handle specific scenarios, like what you would do if you couldn't find the POS materials or if a colleague was unhelpful. Think through these situations beforehand and prepare clear, concise answers that highlight your problem-solving skills.

Familiarise Yourself with the App

Since you'll be using an app to report your visits, it’s a good idea to familiarise yourself with similar app-based systems. Mention any experience you have with technology during the interview, as this will reassure them of your ability to navigate their reporting system efficiently.
