Cosine are looking for a Regional Field Sales Manager to lead a team of Business Development Executives for a market leading parcel delivery services provider. £

37,896 per annum + £4000 bonus + company car, tablet, phone.

Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow, Inverness and surrounding areas

Cosine, award winning field marketing agency is working with a leading provider of parcel delivery services worldwide.

This role is to lead and deliver against client objectives through best-in-class field sales team execution.

You will be responsible for direct line management and responsibility of a team of full time Business Development Executives (BDE).

You will manage the day-to-day deliverables, take accountability for ensuring all standards of operation are met and that key client KPIs are delivered.

This role is a hybrid role, working 3 days a week with your team with 2 days on your own area.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Field team delivery against client objectives and KPI's.
  • Maximise team and personal performance through establishing clear goals, high expectations and standards.
  • Holding meetings to review field team delivery & performance.
  • Building strong and constructive relationships with all appropriate regional & client contacts.
  • Through coaching and performance management, develop a highly motivated team.
  • Delivering regular team 1:1 reviews, create individual development/action plans and Identify areas of underperformance.
  • Analysing team performance data to identify opportunities/risks and drive overall performance.
  • Ongoing review of call file and making recommendations for optimisation.
  • Seeks new approaches and views, challenges the status quo. Operates with an open mind, embraces change. Encourages other to work the same way.
  • Budgetary control of all field expenses.

Occasionally the role requires some activity outside of normal working hours. This may include working anti-social hours and staying away.

Essential

  • Proven experience of developing trusted relationships with clients
  • A proven experience within field marketing and/or sales experience in managing a team of comparable size in a similar sales or service environment.
  • Demonstrated success in leading coaching and developing a high performing team.
  • Experience delivering operational targets and KPI's.
  • Experience of people management, motivating teams and establishing a structured approach to recruitment, training performance management, and employee development.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
  • Clean UK Driving Licence
  • Nationwide travel involved and you must be prepared to stay away from home.
  • Experience of working with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Experience of interrupting data to produce actionable insight.
