For our subsidiary COSCO SHIPPING (UK) Ltd., located in Barking, England we are looking for an experienced
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilities Operations: Support daily site operations, including building maintenance, cleaning standards, and general repairs.
- Contractor & Vendor Management: Coordinate external contractors and service providers to ensure work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
- Mandarin Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, ensuring clear communication regarding facilities updates, requirements, and site issues.
- Health & Safety: Support compliance with UK health and safety regulations through regular inspections, risk assessments, and accurate documentation.
- Multi-Site Support: Travel between sites as required to oversee projects, coordinate maintenance, and address urgent facilities issues.
- Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inventory records, and contractor performance reports, providing regular updates to the HR & Administration Manager.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or a similar operational role.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin, with strong communication skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- A full, valid UK driving licence and the ability to travel between sites.
- Flexibility to provide operational support outside normal working hours and at weekends when required.
