We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Deputy General Manager (m/f/d) to join our team at COSCO Shipping Tanker (UK) Limited.
About this job:
- Develop the European energy transportation market under the authorisation of the General Manager of the Company.
- Negotiate related business contracts with authorisation from relevant departments of the Cosco Shipping Energy Transportation HQ and the GM of Cosco Tanker UK.
- Represent Cosco UK in major business, foreign affairs or other requested important activities.
- Collaborate with operations and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of agreements and effective cost management.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, partners, financial institutions, media etc, in the European Union.
- Assist the GM of Oil Shipping Cosco Tanker UK in carrying out the Company’s social public relation activities and assisting with the establishment of a good corporate image.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices, advocating for continuous improvement within the Tanker UK department.
- Must be able to travel worldwide.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in shipping or energy industry.
- Candidate should be familiar with Tanker transportation, relevant legal provisions, with strong strategic execution ability.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and market dynamics.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proficient in relevant software and technology, Power Bi would be an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
