Accounts Assistant (m/f/d) in Barking

For our subsidiary COSCO SHIPPING Bulk (UK) Ltd., located in Barking, England we are looking for an experienced

Accounts assistant (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Finance Manager in preparing reports and handling ad-hoc management requests.
• Reconcile supplier statements and communicate updates to suppliers.
• Liaise with HQ and local departments to ensure timely financial updates.
• Assist with invoice postings, local payments, and expense claim processing.
• Record and post daily fund transactions in SAP.
• Support month-end tasks, including bank reconciliations and FX revaluations.
• Assist with tax matters, including income tax, VAT, and corporate tax.

What We’re Looking For:

• Newly qualified ACCA/CIMA or graduate.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work at pace to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to speak both English and Mandarin would be helpful
