For our subsidiary COSCO SHIPPING (UK) Ltd., located in Barking, England, we are looking for an experienced Assistant Accounts Manager (m/f/d).
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual management report and financial statements
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate postings
- Review and process journal entries, accruals, and provisions
- Perform bank, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Manage and maintain the lease commitment schedule, lease agreements/renewals
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
- Handle bank queries and KYC matters
- Foreign exchange related transactions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Professional accounting qualification or part qualified as AACA, CPA or equivalent is an advantage
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with accounting software and MS Excel
- Ability to speak both English and Mandarin would be helpful
