Responsibilities Responsible for product development at NCG Development, ensuring consistent quality across all interior products. Produces detailed technical drawings and documentation for production and installation, while engineering solutions that meet durability, strength and usage requirements. Supports scalable global rollout and sustainable store development.
What you will do Engineering Secure development work according to briefs and commercial goals. Actively take part in adding value to our business idea. E.g. input to Business cases, project specifications and briefs.
Way of working Coordinate and collaborate within team and other key functions to synchronize development work and secure deliveries in projects. Responsible for managing projects in area of expertise or/and being the responsible engineer in larger projects. Collect input on best practice, ideas and improvements from other functions. Use and improve working methods and processes.
System and tools 3D CAD modelling and drawing/document completions. Manage product portfolio in PLM system. 3D rendering systems and rendering production.

What you need to succeed Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Rhino or other 3D programs knowledge is essential Experience with PLM systems and/or NX or Solidworks software is a strong advantage Experience in Enscape, Revit an advantage Experience in the Microsoft suite of programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc) Strong ability to develop design proposals from brief to presentation, using hand sketches, technical drawings, graphics, CAD models, and working or presentation models Experience liaising with external design teams, manufacturers, and suppliers, supporting the development and delivery of projects Capable of reviewing industrial and furniture design work as part of internal review processes Strong understanding of time, material, and safety considerations within a workshop or model-making environment Experience supporting value engineering through material, construction, and specification reviews.
Additional Information This is a Full time permanent contract based at our Head Office in London.
