The Global RFID Project Manager defines and delivers the end-to-end RFID strategy, ensuring accurate, real-time inventory visibility across the global retail network. Working across Technology, Supply Chain, Merchandising and Store Operations, the role owns rollout, performance and ongoing optimisation—from upstream tagging compliance through to in-store execution. As the global owner of RFID performance, you will drive adoption across markets and suppliers, establish clear operating standards and embed processes that improve inventory accuracy, operational efficiency and commercial outcomes—ensuring RFID is fully integrated into day-to-day operations and supports a seamless omni experience.

What you will do

  • RFID Programme Ownership
    • Own the global RFID strategy, rollout, and performance, with accountability for tagging compliance, read accuracy, and system health.
    • Assess RFID adoption across markets and suppliers, prioritising actions and rollout sequencing.
    • Define the global RFID operating model across store inventory processes.
  • Upstream Compliance & Data Integration
    • Ensure upstream tagging compliance with Product, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and suppliers.
    • Set and enforce RFID standards, governance, and escalation for non‑compliance.
    • Ensure accurate integration of RFID data into retail systems and store tools.
  • Inventory Accuracy & Enablement
    • Own global inventory accuracy KPIs and reporting.
    • Identify causes of inaccuracy and lead cross‑functional fixes.
    • Embed RFID‑enabled inventory disciplines into store operations.
    • Partner with Tech and Product on RFID tooling, vendor management, training, and change delivery.

What you need to succeed

  • RFID & Technical Expertise
    • Strong knowledge of RFID technology in retail, including EPC standards, tagging, readers, middleware and system integration. Translates technical and data concepts into clear, practical guidance for store teams, enabling strong execution at all levels. Maintains a strong understanding of end-to-end inventory flows, ensuring RFID supports operational and commercial outcomes.
  • Programme Delivery & Execution
    • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-market RFID initiatives from design through to execution and embedding. Highly organised and structured, able to coordinate multiple workstreams with strong attention to detail and quality. Takes ownership of delivery, ensuring timelines, dependencies and risks are actively managed and resolved.
  • Data, Insight & Decision-Making
    • Strong analytical capability, with confidence working across accuracy KPIs, read-rate data, compliance reporting and system diagnostics. Uses data to identify root causes, prioritise actions and drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy and performance.
  • Collaboration & Ways of Working
    • Builds strong, trust-based relationships and collaborates effectively across Technology, Supply Chain, Merchandising and Store Operations. Communicates clearly and adapts style to different audiences. Proactive and solutions-focused, able to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment. Creates credibility and momentum across stakeholders, influencing without authority and driving shared ownership of outcomes.
