This role is pivotal in ensuring COS remains discoverable, relevant and competitive across all search environments, including Large Language Models and generative search experiences. We are looking for a deeply curious and highly knowledgeable SEO leader, someone who lives and breathes both traditional SEO and the evolving landscape of GEO and LLM optimisation. You bring a forward-thinking mindset, constantly exploring how search behaviours and technologies are changing, and translating these into scalable growth opportunities. You will oversee the optimisation of the global website, driving excellence across technical SEO, content strategy and customer journeys. Beyond execution, you will set the strategic direction, champion innovation in AI-driven search, and build strong alignment across regions and teams to deliver long‑term, measurable impact in line with business objectives.

  • Define and lead the global organic search strategy to drive organic growth and visibility across all markets and digital platforms - both traditional search and LLMs.
  • Oversee technical, on-page, and off-page SEO initiatives, ensuring best practices are implemented globally.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to localise SEO strategies while maintaining global brand consistency.
  • Partner with content, product, and e-commerce teams to align SEO with content creation, UX, and conversion goals.
  • Influence roadmap for MarTech enhancements, to improve visibility and favourability of COS across search engines both traditional and emerging.
  • Monitor and analyse SEO performance metrics, reporting insights and opportunities to senior leadership.
  • Stay ahead of search engine algorithm updates and industry trends to inform proactive optimisation and strategy updates to future‑proof COS for growth.
  • Manage relationships with SEO agency, tools and partners (e.g., media agencies, technology vendors).
  • Responsible to ensure SEO integrity throughout major digital projects such as domain migration and e‑commerce expansion where required.
  • Drive innovation through experimentation, testing new approaches in AI, automation, and emerging search platforms.
  • Champion SEO/GEO within the organisation, gain visibility and buy‑in for your ideas, ensuring it is integrated into global marketing, content, and product strategies.
  • Oversee SEO/GEO governance and education, upskilling teams across regions to maintain excellence and consistency.

Qualifications Alignment to our company values is the most important characteristic we look for in all new joiners. Our values are the behaviours that we appreciate above and beyond anything else. We are open‑minded and curious, we dare to be different, we believe in constant improvement and we empower and trust you to take ownership. Our values are part of who we are, what we stand for and how we act.

  • Extensive years of SEO/GEO experience within premium brand or global agency environments, with a proven track record of managing multi‑market complexity.
  • Experience optimising content for generative search (GEO), ensuring visibility in AI‑powered discovery environments.
  • Technical expertise - deep knowledge of technical, on‑page, and off‑page SEO, including site architecture, crawlability, indexing, and international SEO best practices.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript to support technical SEO implementation and collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Strong proficiency with leading SEO tools and analytics platforms (preferably Botify, Screaming Frog, GSC and GA).
  • Data‑driven decision making - ability to interpret complex data, define performance KPIs, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience measuring success across both traditional SEO and emerging GEO metrics.
  • Strategic mindset - understanding of how organic search drives revenue, profitability, and customer growth.
  • Strong understanding of topical authority and how to build content ecosystems that perform across search and LLMs.
  • Stakeholder management & influence - demonstrated ability to build visibility and secure buy‑in for SEO initiatives across the business.
