As a Buyers Admin Assistant, you will play a key support role within the Buying team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the department. You will coordinate samples, maintain accurate product information and support buying activities throughout the product development cycle. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help deliver collections that reflect the brand vision and meet customer needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Support buying administration - Including maintaining product information systems, updating product overviews and assisting with order amendments and reporting.
- Manage the flow of samples, maintain sample records and support sample-related requests across the business.
- Act as a point of contact between cross-functional teams and other departments to ensure information is shared accurately and on time.
- Coordinate daily tasks, track key milestones and proactively support the team in delivering against critical deadlines.
- Prepare and support the Buying Team during fit sessions. Organise sessions and update the fitting list in priority order plus steaming samples.
- Assist with competitor research, trend analysis and sales reviews to provide insights that support buying decisions.
Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Buying Intern or BAA (ideally in fashion).
- Digital proficiency - Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to work across product management and business systems.
- Strong organisational skills - Able to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills - Confident collaborating with cross-functional teams and building positive working relationships.
- Commercial and customer awareness - Understanding of market trends, customer preferences and key product drivers within a fashion retail environment.
- Analytical mindset - Comfortable working with sales data, product information and reports to support decision-making.
