You lead product development with a strong understanding of COS aesthetics and the COS customer, ensuring efficient component and product development that supports growth and profitability. In close collaboration with the Assortment Planner Concept Designer, you plan and deliver a strong, cohesive assortment, working cross‑functionally with the Buying, Design, Pattern, Material and Supply Chain teams to secure a commercially sound range.

What you will do:

Drive a balanced assortment with clear aesthetics, the right product mix, price architecture, quantities and timing, aligned with long‑term brand and commercial goals.

  • Commercial performance and analytical decision‑making: Take buying accountability by analysing purchase targets, sales performance and customer insights. Proactively react to results, identify new sales opportunities and maximise short‑ and long‑term sales and profitability.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration and execution excellence: Work closely with Design, Pattern, Fabric, Production, Buying Controllers, PO teams and Supply Chain to align strategies, budgets and timelines, ensuring efficient workflows, accurate component bookings and on‑time delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Commercial and analytical acumen: Confident in analysing sales, margins, purchase targets and performance data, using insight to inform buying strategies and improve overall profitability.
  • Product and aesthetic judgement: Deep understanding of COS aesthetics, quality expectations and product purpose, with a strong eye for components, colours, best basics and fashion relevance.
  • Strategic planning and execution: Highly organised with the ability to manage complex timelines, omni‑channel requirements, regional planning and capacity considerations while securing delivery against plan.
