As a COS Art Director, you will lead the visual direction on our social and marketing content across global channels. This role blends concept development, hands‑on Art Direction, and real‑time cultural awareness to create compelling, creative that drives engagement and brand growth. You will report into the Head of Art Direction and collaborate closely with marketing, social and production teams to translate business objectives into visual content. From campaign launches to always‑on social content, you'll ensure every touchpoint is cohesive and on‑brand.
What you will do:
- Develop strong creative concepts and moodboards that align with brand vision and marketing goals.
- Present concepts, creative decks, and ideas to internal stakeholders.
- Lead and direct on‑set photoshoots and video productions from concept to post‑production.
- Partner with Head of Art Direction to support with casting that reflects current fashion culture.
- Lead visual ideation for social‑first campaigns, product launches, and marketing initiatives.
- Translate briefs into multiple social platform creatives (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, paid media).
- Stay ahead of emerging social trends, content creators, creative formats and cultural moments.
- Ensure visual cohesion across digital ads, landing pages, and all other marketing assets.
- Oversee retouching, colour grading, brand guidelines and final asset delivery.
- Collaborate with and guide designers, photographers, videographers, stylists, and motion designers to ensure high‑level creative output.
- Create and maintain comprehensive crop guides and visual toolboxes to support art workers and digital designers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all creative assets and production workflows.
Qualifications:
- 5 years' minimum experience in art direction ideally within fashion, luxury, or beauty brands.
- Strong portfolio showcasing fashion campaigns, social content, and product storytelling.
- Deep understanding of fashion photography, styling, casting, and visual trends.
- Experience directing on‑set shoots and managing external creative partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft & Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with motion/video editing tools is a plus.
- Confident understanding of social platform best practices, with the ability to craft elevated, performance‑driven creative that resonates across channels.
- Strong collaborator with the ability to work confidently with multiple stakeholders.
- A genuine interest in the COS brand, its design philosophy, and its visual world.

Additional Information:
This is a full‑time permanent contract based at our Head Office in London. In this role you will have some flexibility to work remotely however due to the high level of cross‑department collaborations approx 3 days per week office presence is required to foster strong collaborations and team work. This role also requires flexibility to travel as per business needs.
