Job Purpose Summary
This is a short term (until the end of the year) assignment, in a remote or hybrid (Taunton or Solihull) setting.
Reviewing and improving key UK HR processes, with a particular focus on onboarding and return-to-work, and to enhance the HR content on the company intranet. The consultant will design and deliver practical solutions using the existing Microsoft environment and connected HR systems, with a strong focus on usability, security and maintainability.
What you will do
Key focus areas
- Onboarding: improve the journey from accepted offer through contracts and new joiner forms via DocuSign, data capture, manager and HR tasks, induction, reminders and progress tracking. This will include creating a Planner view so HR and hiring managers can monitor onboarding progress.
- Corza Connect: improve the UK HR and People Leader content on the SharePoint-based company intranet, including navigation, ownership, audience targeting and document control.
- Return-to-work and time-off management: improve the return-to-work process and document management, and develop Power BI dashboards to support time-off management.
- Time allowing, Right-to-work checks: review and improve the process for completing, recording and tracking right-to-work checks.
Core responsibilities
- Map current workflows, pain points, hand-offs, duplicate activity and control requirements.
- Recommend where processes should be simplified, standardised, automated, integrated or stopped.
- Design and build proportionate workflows, forms, task plans, dashboards and knowledge solutions.
- Work with HR, IT and other process owners to confirm requirements, permissions and dependencies.
- Support testing and controlled implementation of agreed pilot solutions.
- Provide clear documentation, training and handover so HR can maintain the solutions.
What You Will Need
- Super-user level, hands-on capability in Microsoft Power Automate, SharePoint, Lists, Forms, Planner, Power BI and Microsoft Copilot.
- Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders and handle sensitive employee information appropriately.
- Hands‑on HR or operational process improvement experience, from discovery through implementation, would be a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce (Sage People) and DocuSign would be an advantage.
