Your Quantity Surveying Career with Leading Construction OHMG in Newry! Are you an ambitious and detail-driven Quantity Surveyor? This is your opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking construction company at the heart of Newry who are offering you the chance to work on exciting projects, gain hands-on experience, and develop your skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities will include aiding and support with:

  • Monthly Cost Value Reconciliations
  • Participation in Monthly project reviews with Contracts Director as required
  • Liaising with Contracts Management and procurement teams
  • Issue of problem-solving documentation including Collateral Warranties
  • Assessing and certification of Sub-Contractor interim payments and Final Accounts, ensuring required Payment/Pay-less notices are issued.
  • Preparing, submitting and agreeing Interim Valuations.
  • Assist with preparation of Extension of Time and Loss & Expense Submissions.
  • Submission & Negotiation of Final Accounts
  • Identification, notification and valuation

You will ideally have a Main Contractor background and project experience of £5M+:

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying
  • Minimum of 3/4 years post-graduate experience
  • Attained or working towards membership of RICS
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A good understanding of the construction industry and working on site
