Group Buyer – FMCG | Office-Based Craigavon

I\’m recruiting for a newly created Group Buyer role with a well-established packaging business. This senior-level position will lead procurement strategy and supplier management, with a focus on cost control, operational efficiency, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee bulk purchasing and negotiate favourable terms
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply and service
  • Track procurement KPIs and identify areas for cost savings
  • Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Align purchasing activity with inventory needs and production timelines
  • Maintain standards for quality, pricing, and delivery

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior procurement or buying role, ideally within FMCG
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Degree on Business Management or similar
  • Commercially minded with a data-driven approach
  • Confident in forecasting, benchmarking, and contract management
  • Effective communicator with solid organisational skills

Role Details:

  • Full-time, office-based: Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5:30pm
  • UK travel required
  • Salary dependent on experience
