Holywood | £40,000 - £50,000 | Full-time with real flexibility

Flexible hours. High trust. There are Executive Assistant roles where the job is to keep a diary tidy and react to requests and there are EA roles where the job is to make sure the business runs properly. This is the second one and the difference matters.

This is a genuinely flexible role. Full-time, yes, but open to adjusted hours, a four-day week, or sensible arrangements around childcare. The focus is on judgement, output, and trust, not presenteeism.

You’ll work closely with the Managing Director, leading a business that’s grown by backing good people and running things properly. It’s straightforward, busy, and well run. Flat structure. High standards. People are trusted to do their jobs and left to get on with it.

The EA role here matters a lot. You’ll be the person who brings structure to senior leadership. Organising management meetings. Preparing agendas. Taking minutes and making sure actions don’t get forgotten about. Pulling together monthly management reports and chasing what’s missing. Protecting the MD’s time when everything feels urgent, but not everything is important. Done well, this role directly improves decision-making, pace, and focus at the top of the business.

You’ll also handle itinerary planning, support shareholders, and get involved in CSR. You’ll be based in Holywood, working closely with the leadership team day to day. This is a busy role. A talented EA will always find things that need attention. But it’s not chaotic, and it’s not performative. The expectation is calm control, good judgement, and the confidence to say no when needed.

This role will suit someone who:

  • Has supported senior leaders and understands how they really operate
  • Is organised, assertive, and comfortable enforcing priorities
  • Can pull information together and spot gaps quickly
  • Is discreet, dependable, and trusted with sensitive information
  • Wants to be relied on, not micromanaged
  • Is tech savvy and not afraid of learning with us

It won’t suit someone looking for a passive admin role or constant instruction. You’ll be expected to think, anticipate, and act.

Salary is £40,000 to £50,000, depending on experience. If you understand how much difference the right EA makes, and you want a role where that impact is visible and valued, this is worth a conversation.
