This is a Technologist role with a well-established fresh produce business supplying all major UK retailers and it has come about from internal progression of the current Technologist, showing you how the business invests in and grows its people. People who perform well here don’t stay static, they progress and so could you!

This role offers the chance to step into a critical area of the technical function allowing you to shape how it operates.

The Operation at a Glance

This growing food manufacturer operates a complex, 24/7 operation in their fresh produce facility processing over 60,000 tonnes of produce annually. With 2 wash lines and 12 packing lines for both organic and conventional SKUs. The site turns over £65m annually and supplies major UK retailers with the finest quality produce. They have a flat structure, a people‑focused ethos and an appetite for innovation and growth.

Over the last 12 months they have prioritised recruitment that considers not only technical capability but also alignment with their values and long‑term strategy. What You’ll Bring

• Experience within food manufacturing
• Experience within a QA, technical or specifications role
• Exposure to specifications, retailer portals or QMS systems
• Strong attention to detail and a process‑driven mindset
• A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• Confidence working across teams and building relationships
