About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated team in Wolverhampton.

You will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support, helping individuals maintain their dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support individuals with mobility and daily living activities.
  • Assist with meals, hydration, and medication prompts where required.
  • Monitor and report changes in health and wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
  • Promote dignity, independence, and person-centred care.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and family members.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous care experience is essential.
  • Valid CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Flexible and reliable with a commitment to high-quality care.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Mandatory Training Applicants must hold current certification in:

  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
  • Safeguarding Adults
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Moving and Handling
  • Infection Prevention and Control
  • Health and Safety
  • Fire Safety
  • Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
  • GDPR and Confidentiality
  • Medication Awareness
  • Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and DoLS
