We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Supply Teacher, supporting primary school students across various classrooms on a temporary basis. Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to primary school students across different year groups as needed.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by regular teachers to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Manage classroom behaviour with patience, respect, and understanding.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of all students.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Support students' social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and student progress.
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and contribute to a safe school environment.
  • Engage with parents and caregivers as appropriate to support student learning.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience working with primary school-aged children.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and pedagogical practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and classrooms.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
  • Patience, flexibility, and resilience.
  • Current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.
