Ayur Herbal Clinic is a specialist Ayurvedic clinic dedicated to supporting clients through traditional Ayurvedic therapies, personalised treatments and a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.
We are looking for a professional, caring and experienced Ayurvedic Therapist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about Ayurveda and delivering high-quality, personalised treatments in a calm and welcoming clinical environment.
The Role
As an Ayurvedic Therapist, you will provide a range of traditional Ayurvedic treatments and therapies while ensuring each client receives a professional, safe and personalised experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering Ayurvedic treatments and therapies in accordance with the clinic's standards and treatment protocols.
Providing therapies such as Abhyanga massage, Shirodhara, Kizhi/Potli therapies, Udvartana, head massage and other Ayurvedic treatments, depending on your training and experience.
Preparing treatment rooms, oils, herbs and equipment before appointments.
Discussing treatment requirements with clients and supporting individual treatment plans.
Working alongside Ayurvedic practitioners and other members of the clinic team.
Maintaining accurate client and treatment records.
Ensuring treatment rooms and equipment are kept clean, hygienic and well organised.
Following infection control, health and safety, safeguarding and confidentiality procedures.
Providing excellent customer service and helping clients feel comfortable throughout their treatment.
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic when required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, professional and genuinely passionate about Ayurvedic therapy.
The ideal candidate will have:
A recognised qualification in Ayurvedic Therapy, Ayurvedic Massage or a related discipline.
Practical experience delivering Ayurvedic treatments.
Good knowledge of traditional Ayurvedic therapies, oils and treatment techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A professional, caring and client-focused approach.
Excellent standards of hygiene and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and professional boundaries. Previous experience working within an Ayurvedic clinic, wellness centre, spa or healthcare environment would be advantageous.
