Our client, based in Bristol, is seeking a professional 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join their busy home delivery team. Working as part of a two-person crew, you'll be delivering furniture, electrical goods, appliances, and other household products directly to customers' homes. This is a physically active role that combines safe driving, teamwork, and excellent customer service.

The Role

  • Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle in line with all road transport legislation.
  • Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
  • Deliver goods to customers' homes safely, efficiently, and on time.
  • Load and unload heavy and bulky items with your delivery partner.
  • Complete delivery paperwork accurately and use delivery management systems.
  • Provide outstanding customer service on every delivery.
  • Keep your vehicle clean, safe, and roadworthy.
  • Comply with Driver Hours regulations and Digital Tachograph requirements at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • Essential: Full UK Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driving Licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification.
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Good knowledge of UK road transport regulations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to carry out physically demanding work, including heavy lifting.
  • Desirable: Previous multi-drop or home delivery experience.
