Teacher of Psychology
Full-Time | Immediate Start | Indefinite Contract
Location: Evesham, Worcestershire (WR11 1DP)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and knowledgeable Teacher of Psychology to join a thriving educational setting in Evesham on a full-time, indefinite basis with an immediate start.
The successful candidate will predominantly teach Psychology at KS4 and KS5, alongside Criminology and a small allocation of other subjects as required.
This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring teacher who is passionate about student achievement and dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Psychology across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
- Deliver Criminology courses to post-16 learners.
- Teach a small number of additional subjects where appropriate.
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that inspire learners.
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
- Support students to achieve their full academic potential.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school or college.
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Psychology at KS4 and KS5.
- Experience teaching Criminology is desirable but not essential.
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for all learners.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.
