We’re recruiting a Content Producer to join a mission-led organisation working to improve public health.

You’ll create clear, useful and engaging health content across print, digital and video. You’ll help plan and develop prevention-focused content for a range of audiences, including people who may face barriers to accessing trusted health information.
What you’ll do

  • Manage the delivery of health content from brief to publication, keeping projects on time and within budget.
  • Create and improve content for digital, print and video channels.
  • Use audience insight and performance data to assess what is working and recommend improvements.
  • Help plan and prioritise content that supports the organisation’s prevention work and reaches priority audiences.
  • Make sure content is accessible, user-focused and suited to different formats and needs.
  • Work with colleagues across communications, digital, clinical and policy teams to share content effectively.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure information is accurate and reflects current evidence.
  • Advise colleagues on good practice in content creation and trusted health information.

What we’re looking forYou’ll bring experience of:

  • Working in a busy content team.
  • Creating health or public information content, ideally for web, video or guides.
  • Managing complex projects and working with a range of stakeholders.
  • Writing and proofreading clear, engaging copy.
  • Using audience data and insight to make practical recommendations.
  • Producing accessible communications and considering different formats and audience needs.
  • Writing for the web, with an understanding of SEO and emerging search practices.

You’ll be organised, creative and comfortable working to deadlines and briefs. An understanding of the charity or wider public health sector, trusted health information standards, and the opportunities and challenges of AI in health content would be useful.
