  • About CORTO

We are CORTO, a cutting-edge software company dedicated to revolutionising the legal industry.

Our mission is to empower legal practitioners with AI-driven solutions that streamline their workflow, boost productivity, and provide more efficient client service.

Our team of AI experts and engineers collaborate to develop intelligent software tailored to the unique needs of lawyers, paralegals, and legal assistants.

Our innovative AI solutions automate routine tasks, simplify document management, and enhance decision-making, allowing legal professionals to focus on what they do best—providing expert legal counsel.

We’re rapidly scaling from 80 to 250+ employees, with a highly technical workforce where around 75% of the team are developers and engineers.

Working alongside our Sydney-based team of passionate high achievers, you’ll join a fast-growing technology business where things rarely stay the same for long - and if you’re smart, caring, and ambitious, you’ll be in great company.

What you’ll do

This is a new role created to drive dedicated communication, training and promotion of AI across our UK legal teams, and to provide a stronger UK voice in external AI engagement.

The role sits at the intersection of product, legal practice and lawyer engagement, helping shape and land AI features for the UK market while representing the business externally.

  • To make this happen you will
  • Provide training and support to UK stakeholders on AI features.
  • Collaborate with legal and product teams to design and refine AI-driven solutions that streamline UK legal workflows and improve overall efficiency.
  • Conduct UK research and analysis using AI tools to inform product development.
  • Assist in reviewing and creating UK legal document templates, ensuring compliance with UK regulation and usability for practitioners.
  • Provide feedback on legal workflows and user experience from a UK practitioner's perspective.
  • Contribute to training materials, webinars and content to support engagement and education initiatives across the UK market.
  • Increase brand awareness of CORTO AI agents externally.
  • Stay updated on UK specific regulations and competitor analysis.
  • Represent the business at UK industry events, conferences, and webinars.
  • What you’ll bring
  • UK-qualified lawyer with 5+ years PQE
  • Genuinely passionate about AI – you already talk, write or speak about it, not just use it
  • Hands-on experience implementing or using AI in a legal practice setting
  • A confident public speaker, comfortable representing CORTO externally at events and online
  • Strong communicator internally and externally – equally comfortable briefing a legal team and speaking from a stage
  • Comfortable working in a global team with flexible hours that sometimes overlap AU and US time zones
  • Even better if you have
  • Generalist experience across family, property, estates, criminal and/or personal injury law – or deep specialism in one of these
  • Law firm background rather than in-house – you'll be working closely with vertical legal teams day to day
  • Prior exposure to agentic AI or legal tech products
  • You are the type of person who
  • Gets genuinely excited about what AI can (and can't) do – and you want to be the person in the room who knows the answer.
  • Thrives when priorities shift – Legal Tech is evolving rapidly and that kind of change energises rather than unsettles you.
  • Brings practical legal instincts to technical conversations – you don't need to code, but you think like a product-minded lawyer.
  • Likes to juggle – a lot – and you do it well.
