Part Time Construction Management Accountant
We are recruiting for a Construction Management Accountant to join our Manchester team. Due to continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen with an opening to join our successful and expanding construction finance team based at our head office in Ancoats, Manchester.

Responsibilities
- Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Management Accounts
- Managing and taking full ownership of two construction companies\β accounts
- Preparing analysis as required for audit and tax purposes
- Input of financial transactions into Sage 50
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
- Supporting our Construction Finance Manager
- Supporting construction purchase ledger team
- Implementing and monitoring new processes within the department
- Overseeing CIS returns, checks and reconciliation prior to approving submission by the team
- Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks as required
Skills & Requirements
- Ideally we would like you to be a full/part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA etc.). However, candidates with extensive experience will be considered; as well as assistant management accountants wishing to take that next step
- Property or Construction background preferred but not essential
- Experience of preparing and posting month end journals
- Experience of ledger/control account reconciliation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
