We are seeking a commercially minded and creatively driven Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead marketing activity across our growing portfolio of purpose-built student accommodation. You'll take ownership of brand, lead generation, social growth and on-site marketing execution to support leasing targets and create a sense of community in every building. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who understands the student mindset, thrives on fast-paced campaigns and knows how to turn likes, clicks and engagement into real-world conversions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy & Execution
    • Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, paid media and print
    • Develop and manage annual marketing calendars for each development in line with lettings cycles
    • Work closely with the lettings and on-site teams to drive enquiries, bookings and occupancy
  • Social Media & Content
    • Own all social media channels for the student brand, with a focus on TikTok and Instagram
    • Produce engaging content that showcases student life, events, facilities and local culture
    • Manage content calendars, briefing creators and overseeing community management
  • Brand & Creative
    • Evolve and protect the visual identity and tone of voice across all touchpoints
    • Brief and manage external designers, photographers and videographers
    • Produce collateral including brochures, flyers, posters and email templates
  • Performance & Reporting
    • Monitor performance using HubSpot, GA4 and native platform analytics
    • Report weekly on leads, engagement, traffic and ROI
    • Optimise campaigns and channels based on data and feedback
  • Community Marketing
    • Support on-site teams with resident events, giveaways and referral incentives
    • Develop relationships with student influencers, societies and partners
    • Activate pop-up marketing near university campuses during peak periods

What We're Looking For

  • 2-3+ years in a marketing role, ideally within PBSA, residential or lifestyle sectors
  • Knowledge of student marketing channels and lead generation platforms, including SpareRoom, Rightmove and Zoopla
  • Comfortable briefing and managing freelancers and creatives
  • Strong social media and digital marketing experience, with proven results
  • Confident copywriter and visual storyteller
  • Commercially minded with strong understanding of lead generation and conversion
  • HubSpot and Canva experience preferred
  • A self-starter who thrives on ownership and pace
