Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 approximate basic + Bonus + relocation assistance if required
WFH policy is 15 days per calendar quarter – this is the “25% of working time”.
We are keen to find a finance leader from a manufacturing background i.e. must be comfortable leading the supply chain / sub-contract manufacturing / warehouse operation. Great opportunity for an experienced finance leader looking for greater breadth.
Job Summary
A high-impact leadership role combining financial expertise with broad operational responsibility. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Finance Director will act as second-in-command, driving financial performance while leading key business functions including supply chain, QHSE, IT, and HR. This is a uniquely broad role suited to a commercially driven finance leader who wants to play a central role in running and scaling a global business. You will work closely with the parent company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial planning, reporting, control & consolidation globally
- Drive profitability, cash flow and a culture of continuous improvement
- Act as strategic partner and deputy to the Managing Director
- Full functional ownership of Supply Chain & Procurement, QHSE, IT & HR
- Lead multi-site operations across UK, Italy, India & USA
- Accountable for strong financial and operational controls & governance
- Manage risk and compliance
- Drive operational efficiency and scalability
Travel Requirements
Occasional international travel required to subsidiaries.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven Finance Director, or equivalent, in discrete manufacturing, engineering or industrial sectors
- Strong operations and/or supply chain experience
- Experience in multi-site or international environments
- Commercially minded, hands-on, and pragmatic
- Demonstrated experience leading or materially influencing functions beyond finance is strongly preferred
- Financial Leadership & Control - Strong technical and commercial finance capability
- Operational Leadership - Ability to run functions beyond finance
- Commercial Acumen - Links financial insight to business decisions
- Supply Chain & Business Operations - Understands manufacturing flow and efficiency
- Global Management - Handles complexity across locations
- Leadership & Influence – Builds high performing teams & act as second in command
