This position has been shaped by a highly capable predecessor who delivered significant impact across Quality Assurance, internal auditing, supplier quality, and 3PL operations. You’ll be stepping into a role with clear foundations, strong processes, and the opportunity to elevate quality performance even further.
Held sole responsibility for all quality matters within the 3PL division, now a major growth area:
- Managed non-conformances, containment actions, and root cause analysis using 8D, Fishbone, and 5-Why
- Produced and presented KPIs, CI plans, and gap analyses to Directors and customers
- Reviewed and approved Inspection Reports and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
- Interpreted technical drawings, wiring looms, engineering drawings, and datasheets

Growth & Development:
We will support your progression into leadership and fund your qualifications — including AS9100 training. To lead, develop, and implement robust quality assurance and continuous improvement strategies across bespoke kitting, 3PL, smart logistics, and supply chain services. You will ensure compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory requirements while driving a culture of quality excellence.
This is a customer-facing role — you will influence, guide, and sometimes push back on clients, using a commercial mindset and strong communication skills.
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives:
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement CAPA
- Build on existing QMS foundations established by the previous role holder
Supplier Quality Management:
- Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews
- Act as the primary quality liaison for customers
- Manage complaints and customer-specific requirements
- Lead investigations and implement preventative actions
Maintain and improve quality documentation:
- Produce and present KPIs, CI plans, and gap analyses
- Review and approve Inspection Reports and FAIRs
Training & Development:
- Train employees on quality standards and tools
- Provide quality engineering support across development and operational phases
- Lead and review First Article Inspections (FAI)
- Support risk management, control plans, and process validation
Experience in a quality engineering or assurance role within electronics, mechanical, supply chain, or manufacturing:
- Experience with 8D, Fishbone, 5-Why, and other quality tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring looms, engineering drawings, and datasheets
- Structured, organised, and able to project-manage your day effectively
