WFH policy is 15 days per calendar quarter – this is the “25% of working time”.

We are currently seeking to recruit a product support engineer. Applications are welcome from engineers with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial machine automation.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Provision of technical support to existing customers via multiple media channels
  • Support and training of in-house and external applications engineers
  • Enabling communication between customers and development (e.g. PLC or Motion Controller)
  • Knowledge of a programming language; for example C, BASIC, Python
  • Programming with the standard IEC61131-3 languages
  • Application and configuration of Industrial Robots
  • Servo and/or Stepper drives and motors
  • Using real-time deterministic networks, e.g. EtherCAT, Sercos, CanOpen, Profinet RT
  • Programming and configuration of touch-screen HMIs
  • Practical experience of electrical interfacing between devices in an automation system

We are looking for team players who can communicate effectively in English, are legally entitled to live and work in the UK and can be based at our HQ in Gloucestershire. A full driving licence is required and applicants must be eligible to obtain business visas for USA/Canada, China, EU and India as some foreign travel may be necessary.
