About the Role
As our fleet of subsea excavation equipment grows globally, we're looking for an experienced Lead Engineer to help maintain and grow our reputation by overseeing all engineering and maintenance activities. You will manage the fleet over new product design. You'll provide technical leadership across projects, contribute to and ensure the quality of new designs, and drive continuous improvement of maintenance strategies, all with a focus on safety and compliance with industry standards and best practice. Working closely with the Director, Offshore Operations, and Workshop staff, you'll manage the Design Engineers and drive excellence across the engineering function.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering Leadership
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on hydraulic and mechanical system design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Create, review, and approve engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, and technical documentation
- Support project teams with technical expertise during design, build, testing, and commissioning phases
- Act as the main point of contact for technical engineering matters
- Work with external consultants and in-house technicians to maintain and improve control systems
